Mahalo to everyone who made this years Ho’ike possible for the children of King Kamehameha III elementary school! The different grade level performances were awesome and enjoyable to watch! Queen Kayla your hula was magnificent, breath taking, and VERY graceful! Thank you Kam III students for sharing with us this special day!

Aloha, I know this is late but better late then never. I just wanted to express how impressive May Day was!! it was fabulous. I am born and raised here and have attended many, many May Day programs and NEVER have i enjoyed a program like i did this 2011 Ho’ike – Mr. Kent, i applaud your time, passion & to see our kids charging the opportunity to challenge their confidence, with solo performances in many grade levels. I completely lost it when the Queen ended the show with the 5th grade performance Lean on Me. The whole program was so creative, obviously the kids were enjoying themselves as much as us from beginning to end. Lastly your office staff is soooo on it. On a daily basis as well as being proactive to days like this with such organization and ease. I’m so happy and proud that my kids are apart of King Kamehameha III school. Have a great summer!!!
